Updating an Application and Checking Status

Please do not contact the Admissions Office with requests to update statements of purpose, to add additional grades, or to inquire about application status. Use the status update functionality.

Checking Status

YOUR APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED ON-LINE BEFORE CHECKING STATUS. PLEASE ALLOW 2 DAYS AFTER SUBMISSION.

Should you wish to see the status of your submitted application, please request a status check email.

An email will be sent to the address you provided in your application detailing any outstanding items. You may check the status as often as you wish by going to the above site.

PLEASE USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS LISTED IN THE APPLICATION!!!

This page will provide status for the following: 1) Uploaded text statement of purpose - NOT the statement in the submitted application; 2) Uploaded PDFs of unofficial transcripts - NOT official transcripts sent via post; 3) letters of reference; and 4) Test scores: GRE (general) and TOEFL. This link will not provide status of official transcripts sent via post. If these are missing, the Earth Sciences Admissions office will contact you via email.

Due to high volume, more than 48 hours may be necessary to input information. If you do not see your information, please do not panic; continue to check status. We are doing our best.

An email will be sent providing a new URL where updates to the above items may be made. Be sure to copy and paste the ENTIRE URL ADDRESS. Any and all updates to either the statement or unofficial transcript must be made using the above web address. Updates will overwrite previous entries.

All transcripts must be in ENGLISH.

Admission Decisions

The School of Earth Sciences WILL NOT provide admission decisions over the phone. When made, decisions will be communicated via email. DO NOT CALL THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE asking for a decision.
